Springtime always brings a long list of chores, from clearing leaves to preparing garden beds for summer blooms. Along the way, I’ve been capturing quiet moments and beautiful flowers from my garden to share with you.

Well the snow has finally melted and my daffodils are popping up their lovely green leaves. I am really hoping that it won't be much longer before I can get out in the garden and feel the soil in my hands! In the mean time I thought I would share some of my favorite flower images with you.

Definition : Triptych photography is a presentation of three related images displayed together to tell a story, explore a theme, or create a cohesive visual statement, often acting as wall art . The first image certainly fits that description, the other 2 are my own variations on the theme.

I love minimalism because it slows things down. This long exposure from the Isle of Harris and Lewis softens the water and strips the scene down to one rock and a lot of quiet space. Sometimes less really does say more.
